In the Judo Congress in 2003, the original name PAJA had been renamed All-Philippine Judo Federation. Many questioned why there was a need to affix the word "All" before the federation name. This was patterned from the All-Japan Judo Federation, where our japanese judo brothers really meant "all the judo federations/clubs in Japan" (source: www.philippinejudo.org).
It is the goal of Seijitsu Judo Dojo to come up with 15 regular Judo practicing members in order register as a chapter. At present, several people have signed up to join the training but eventually dropped out due to the inability to cope with the demands of the training. Obviously, there has been a misconception of what Judo realy is and that oftentimes people have mistaken Judo as a form of fad. Enrolment to the training program bring people into the realization that there is more to Judo than what what they have preconceived. But of course these cannot be attained by those who do not take Judo with an empty cup.
To date, Seijitsu Judo Dojo retains the membership of only a few dedicated Judoka. It seeks only the most dedicated in its pursuit to propagate Judo in the area. Given the fad nowadays, it may take some time to effectively bring a proper perspective of Judo to the consciousness of the public but the dojo's standard will not be sacrificed.
